Jeff Goalen is a U.S. Navy Veteran, a Certified Georgia State Firefighter, and a National Registry Paramedic with over 20 years of experience in Fire and EMS. Currently serving as a Lieutenant, Jeff brings extensive knowledge, leadership, and hands-on expertise to every course. His dedication to public safety and real-world experience significantly enriches the training we provide to the community.

Sylvia Goalen

Sylvia Goalen is a seasoned Government and Social Work professional with more than 20 years of experience in community engagement. She is also a Certified Georgia State Fire Inspector. Sylvia’s passion for public safety—particularly in prevention and education—enhances the quality and depth of every course we offer. Her commitment to service and community empowerment is at the heart of our mission.

Richard Papastefanou

Richard Papastefanou is an Army Airborne Veteran who served as a Combat Medic Specialist with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is a former Nationally Registered EMT, former Sheriff’s Deputy, and member of the U.S. Army Medical Regiment, with over 10 years of experience in emergency services. Richard also holds multiple state certification, including a Class I Wastewater Operator License, Class III Water Operator License, and Class III Maintenance License. He and his wife, Ashley, have three children and a shared passion for community service.

Ashley Papastefanou

Ashley Papastefanou is a Georgia Army National Guard Veteran who served as a Combat Medic Specialist with the 878th Engineer Battalion in Augusta, Georgia. A former Nationally Registered EMT and member of the U.S. Army Medical Regiment, she brings over a decade of medical experience to the team. Ashley holds an associate degree in Business Management and a Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Richard, have three children and share a deep commitment to serving their community.

Anthony Woodall

Anthony Woodall is a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and an Associate's degree in Engineering. Anthony is a three-time world champion powerlifter and actively gives back to his community as a wrestling coach at Flowery Branch High School, his alma mater. He and his wife, Catherine, live in Banks County with their child.
